Thank you for shopping with Odom Honey Hive. Because many of our products are personal-use, consumable, handmade, hand-finished, naturally derived, or produced in small quantities, all sales are generally final, subject to the exceptions and legal rights described below.
Please carefully review product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, weights, fragrances, ingredients, warnings, and other product information before purchasing.
All Sales Generally Final
Except for damaged, defective, or incorrect products, or where otherwise required by applicable law, Odom Honey Hive generally does not accept returns or exchanges because of:
- Change of mind
- Fragrance preference
- Color preference
- Ordering the wrong product
- Failure to review dimensions or product descriptions
- Minor natural variations
- Minor handmade or hand-finished variations
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Soap and Personal-Care Products
For health, hygiene, and product-integrity reasons, soap and personal-care products are generally final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange, except where the item received is damaged, defective, incorrect, or where otherwise required by applicable law.
Please review all ingredients, sizes, fragrances, descriptions, and warnings before purchasing.
Important Soap Safety
SOAP IS FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
DO NOT EAT OR INGEST SOAP.
Avoid contact with eyes. Customers with known allergies or sensitivities should carefully review the ingredients before use. Discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.
Failure to follow product warnings or using a product for a purpose for which it was not intended does not by itself make the product defective.
Candles and Wax Products
Candles and wax products are generally final sale. Candles that have been lit, burned, melted, altered, damaged after delivery, or otherwise used generally cannot be returned except where required by applicable law.
Natural beeswax and handmade or hand-finished candles may have reasonable variations in color, texture, dimensions, weight, surface finish, or appearance. Such natural or handmade variations are not necessarily defects.
Important Candle Safety
NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED.
KEEP BURNING CANDLES AWAY FROM CHILDREN, PETS, AND ANYTHING THAT CAN CATCH FIRE.
HOT WAX CAN CAUSE BURNS.
CANDLES AND CANDLE WAX ARE NOT FOOD. DO NOT EAT OR INGEST.
Use candles only on an appropriate stable, heat-resistant, nonflammable surface or candle holder. Molded and sculptural candles may drip wax and should be placed on an appropriately sized heat-resistant candle plate or holder capable of containing melted wax.
Customers are responsible for reading and following the candle safety and burning instructions supplied with the product.
Honey and Other Food Products
When Odom Honey Hive offers honey or other edible products, such products will generally be final sale for food-safety and product-integrity reasons.
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, leaking, broken, contaminated, or otherwise defective food product, contact us according to the damaged-product procedure below.
ONLY PRODUCTS EXPRESSLY IDENTIFIED AND SOLD AS FOOD ARE INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
Gift Sets
Gift sets containing soap, candles, honey, or other products are generally subject to the return restrictions applicable to the individual products contained in the set. Opened, used, burned, melted, or otherwise altered products generally cannot be returned except where required by applicable law.
If an individual item in a gift set arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
If an item arrives damaged, appears defective, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact Odom Honey Hive within 3 days of delivery at odomhoneyhive@gmail.com.
Please provide:
- Your name
- Order number
- A description of the problem
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of damaged packaging when applicable
Please retain the product and original packaging until we have reviewed your claim. We may request reasonable additional information necessary to evaluate the issue.
When we determine that an item was damaged, defective, or incorrectly fulfilled, we may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, refund, store credit, or another remedy as appropriate or required by applicable law.
Natural and Handmade Variations
Because certain Odom Honey Hive products may be handmade, hand-finished, naturally derived, or produced in small batches, no two products may be completely identical. Reasonable variations in color, shape, pattern, texture, fragrance, finish, weight, or appearance are not necessarily defects and ordinarily do not qualify an item for a refund.
Shipping Damage
Please photograph visibly damaged shipping packaging before discarding it whenever reasonably possible. If a package or product was damaged during shipment, contact us promptly so we can review the situation and, where appropriate, pursue a claim with the carrier.
Misuse or Failure to Follow Safety Instructions
Products damaged because of misuse, improper storage, unauthorized alteration, improper burning, failure to follow product instructions or warnings, or use for an unintended purpose generally are not considered defective because of that misuse.
This provision does not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Marketplace Purchases
Purchases made through third-party marketplaces may also be subject to that marketplace’s applicable policies, buyer-protection requirements, and mandatory procedures. Where a marketplace rule or applicable law gives the customer rights that cannot be waived by this Return & Refund Policy, those requirements will apply.
Cancellations
If you need to request cancellation of an order, contact Odom Honey Hive as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered processing, has been customized, or has shipped. Any cancellation rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
Legal Rights
NOTHING IN THIS RETURN & REFUND POLICY IS INTENDED TO WAIVE, RESTRICT, EXCLUDE, OR LIMIT ANY CONSUMER RIGHT OR REMEDY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE WAIVED, RESTRICTED, EXCLUDED, OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
